I found this blog while doing a research on human allergies.. Well, believe it or not - my friend is most likely allergic to her boyfriend.. After very first kiss she got rash on her face, so they thought it might be his beard, but even if they kissed while he was clean shaved, same thing happened. She had him change all the stuff he used (lotion, cologne, etc) and still she gets severe rash all over her body when they are together..
He was out of the country for a couple of months and she was not having ANY skin problems at that time! But as soon as he returned, it's all back.
The worse thing is that now she is pregnant with his baby, and looks like separation is the only way for her to keep her skin clear and healthy..
If someone can give advise, I would highly appreciate it. Thank you for reading

Derren,
Thanks for appearing on Dr. Phil, so I could end up writing about you! I'm glad you were able to figure out the problem in the end! I'm sure the whole situation was extremely frustrating and horrible to go through.

Haha...My friend told me about this blog posting. I was that guy who was "allergic" to his girlfriend. Actually I was allergic to Lanolin which was in lotions that I was putting on my face, but I also believe it was pyschosymatic as well. Since I had "thought" I was allergic to my g/f, but was really getting allergic reactions to these lotions. Even when I stopped using the lotions I would breakout. Well I'm getting better now, but it's a long road to recovery after nearly a year of constant allergic reactions.

Nice blog btw...

Beautywriter,
Oh yeah I totally forgot about that! I saw that episode of "House" the first time it aired, but I didn't watch it last night. At the time, it seemed pretty crazy that everyone could make themselves sick, and have rashes, and then here I am writing I think it's highly possible!

Hey, did you see "House" last night? That's what he ended up concluding about a whole plane-ful of sick people (including his boss) with rashes, sweating and fevers in response to one passenger who actually was sick, turned out not with anything contagious., of course. It's so true how your mind works - Glad you figured it out!
