Best Of Sephora 2007

· Comments(4)

sephoraThe secret is out! My favorite sunscreen won for Best Sunscreen in the Best of Sephora 2007 (Woops, I forgot to post this til now). My favorite cleanser also won! I feel so proud! I was at the Mall of America last week and stopped in the Sephora, but I didn’t realize the winners til just now. More than 100,000 beauty addicts voted for their favorite products. I’m not sure if the voters were given a list of products to choose from, or if they could vote for anything.

View the full list of winners here. Here are a few of the winners:

Best Sunscreen
Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Cream SPF 55 (the best sunscreen ever - the blue tube in the picture) $33

Best Face Cleanser
Philosophy Purity Made Simple (my favorite cleanser) $10+

Best Face Moisturizer
Philosophy Hope in a Jar (I tried this a long time ago, and I remember the smell was so horrible I gave up on it after a day. I wonder if I should re-visit this product) $38

Best Mascara
Dior DiorShow (everyone raves about this, so I want to try it, even though it’s expensive) $23

Best Foundation
Bare Escentuals i.d. bareMinerals (I’m not a big fan of mineral makeup, but tons of people love it. I’m not sure if Bare Escentuals is so popular because it’s good, or because it’s everywhere - QVC, Ulta, its own stores, etc.) $25

Best Self-Tanner
Lancome Flash Bronzer Glow ‘N Wear $29.50

Biggest Beauty Breakthrough
GoSmile Advanced B1 Tooth Whitening On The Go $89

    Yay! Go Shiseido! :)

  2. Christopher Michael Says:

Thanks, I think I’ll try the Philosophy Cleanser. Why do you like it so much?

  3. Jeni - Savvy Skin Says:

I like the Philosophy cleanser because I have really dry skin, and it’s the only cleanser that doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight after I wash my face. And it doesn’t leave a residue on my skin like a lot of cleansers.

the hope in a jar is not all that great. i tryed it and it does feel greasy. it also has benzoate. its an acne treating chemical that is very strong. those who are alergic to this, ( like me) there face swells up and your skin feels tight and the harsh smell is so overpowering. its like chemical in a jar instead.
