There’s actually ferulic acid (in addition to vitamin C and E) in Paula’s antioxidant serum (renamed “Resist”). Don’t know if it was previously in there, but it for sure is, now. I had actually stumbled upon an article one day extolling virtues of ferulic acid (the article mentioned the insanely overpriced SkinCeuticals). Ran to get P.C.’s serum, flipped it over and there it was.

You can make your own version of this. I make a very simple c serum but I’ve seen diy recipes which also include the ferulic and vitamin e.

I haven’t tried the Phloretin yet but want to try it. But alcohol is one of the main ingredients, and I don’t want to dry out and damage my skin, and of course the price is prohibitive as well! Otherwise it sounds great!

Hi – Have you tried their Phloretin? I like it better than CE Ferulic. It’s a different antioxidant and it contains C also — doesn’t make me break out or look shiny or yellow like CE Ferulic and I do see a difference when I use it. I haven’t bought it in a while ’cause of the price but I have used it in the past.
Let us know if you test it out!

I was reading about how good the CE Ferulic is on Makeupalley. People were saying how it makes your face glow, but it’s so expensive, so I don’t know if it’s worth it. But I totally want to try it.
