If you haven’t discovered ‘Made from Earth’ yet, their “Vitamin Enhanced Moisturizer” cream is marvelous. It’s worth every penny – a jar will last you forever since there’s no water in it, it’s a very concentrated and rich emulsion of natural ingredients. it heals uncomfortable dry patches anywhere on your body, it softens cuticles, it makes a great eye cream when my eyes are irritated by allergies.

It is a little rich and heavy for a regular face moisturizer for me (my skin is normal although it’s a little dry in the winter), although from time to time if my face is feeling tight I will dab on a little at night.

Thank you for the great article, I think that the information you provided regarding antioxidants is quite beneficial. If a moisturizer has too many antioxidants and is blocking the pores, it definitely defeats the purpose of our skin care routine. This is why I am a firm believer in researching all products and understanding the ingredients and any side effects.

I have been using this for about 2 years now, and use it after my Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel and before applying my mineral powder (I don’t use foundation). I use the Combination Oily and it is wonderful, and my makeup always looks great.

I’ve always had trouble with moisturizers that contain glycerin. So I always read the ingredients list when I’m looking for a new moisturizer. I was using Origins’ LOOK ALIVE but now they have discontinued, but this should be a good replacement.

One thing I like to pass along regarding skincare is throughout the day try not to touch your face, always wash your hands as much as possible. Wash your hands with soap for at least twenty seconds, create a lather in your hands and then rinse with luke warm water. We truly do not know how much we touch our faces in a day until it is bought to our attention, what we need to understand is the amount of dirt that we transfer from our hands to our face.

I had used other Made from Earth skincare products before, and liked them, so figured I’d try the Vitamin Enhanced Moisturizer. I’ve been using it for about a month now, and really like it.

I was having issues with combination skin vs. dry windy winter weather, and this Made from Earth Vitamin Moisturizer is really helping quite a bit.

I’m lazy about using moisturizers so I don’t use it every day, or twice a day, but when I use it my skin feels better. That has motivated me to be better about using it then any product in the past has. It helps the dry without adding any trouble in the oily areas. It doesnt smell since its fragrence free, and once it’s on your face and absorbed it fades completely.

Everyone has different skin, but this is worth a try. The price seemed expensive at first, but considering it lasted me for three months, its way worth it – usually moisturzers finish in a month – but this last 3 months so its a GREAT value buy….

also i bought online at their website at http://www.madefromearth.com – i found that cheaper (even with the shipping cost) rather than in the stores..

Elena: which Sheseido sunscreen do you use, I used theirs years ago but haven’t used recently. I’m thinking of using Renova again and saw how you said this was best for Renova users. Also do you think its better to just avoid during summertime (renova) or its really possible to use this time of year?

Hi there!
I have a quick question , but before i do i must tell you your site is extremely helpful.
I am having a hard time finding a great sunscreen for my face, im highly sensitive and any oil free , fragrance free, hypoallergenic sunscreen i use on my face still breaks me out horribly with cystic acne!, i dont want to use bare mineral sunscreen powder becuase my skin is dry as is… I have been looking everywhere from neutrogena and its still the same claims, and i get the same results breakouts.. Please help! thank you so much :0)
