i havnt had a chance to purchase this book but i went to the book store and took a glance at it maybe i shouldnt say a glance becouse what i thought was going to be fast, took 4hrs, i went to purchase another book that so happend not to be there, so as i was looking around came occross this one and let me tell u, its got all kinds of info, i’m using Pericons prescription skincare, very expensive but yet doesnt give me the satisfaction of a clear skin and my pores are still very visible, recently i called to their main office and the girl their just ended up getting fustrated with my questions and said for me to talk to a manager well the manager never came to the phone so i had to hang up, that was one of the reasons i had to stop using it the first time, they dont take the time to even ask what kind of complextion you have, In this book i looked it but and paula doesnt agree with much of their things, To me everything Poula says its true becouse i have used basically all of their products and it does leaves my skin o.k, and a little firmer just a little, not much anyways i love all the info that Paula gives us and i plan to use her skincare line and purchase all her books.

This book is one of the smartest advertisements I’ve ever seen. Paula rips apart every skincare product (even the products that get an ‘approval’ from her still have a “but” or “however” following their praise.) The only skincare line that gets her full backing and lavish review? Her own.
If you want reviews on a product, do your own homework. Look for reviews from people that don’t have their own agenda. You can google most skincare ingredients and learn their pro’s and con’s.

very interesting post. not to mention that cosmetic giants have been doing this for ages…. one product for the rich, another for the average consumer… both cost about the same to make the major difference is bottle and packaging. L’oreal owns Keristase. Meanwhile, the anti-frizz serum is virtually the same… one is 8 dollars the other is 38.

My Mom used Nivea creme for as long as I can remember. Every time I use it, I’m reminded of her (oops! She’s not dead! But I think of her when I smell it.).

I don’t use it all of the time, but kind of always come back to it. I love the stuff.
