I have a phototoxic reaction to this that looked almost like a sunburn. Too bad because it looked good under makeup.

Jrzygrl,
I looked for that Epicuren sunscreen, but only see one that is SPF 20. Otherwise, the ingredients look good. I'm not sure why it's only an SPF of 20 if it has 17% zinc oxide. The ingredients look good, and it has antioxidants in it.

I looked at the Beyond Coastal sunscreen, but couldn't find the exact ingredients. The fact that it's zinc oxide and titanium dioxide is good.

M,
I looked up that sunscreen and it looks pretty good, but I still think the Shiseido is better because it contains a higher percentage of zinc oxide. Also, the Elta sunscreen has major pore cloggers, so it would not be good at all for acne-prone skin. But if you aren't acne-prone, it's definitely better than most drugstore sunscreens (although it's price is high, so it's not much cheaper than Shiseido).

Hi Jeni,
I'm a sunscreen junkie like you and I was wondering if you ever heard of or tried Epicuren. It has 17% micronized Zinc Oxide. Let me know what your thoughts are. I checked out the ingredients and they seem to be non pore-clogging - unless I'm missing something. There is also a mineral based SPF 30 sunscreen called Beyond Coastal. Have you tried that?
Thanks again...
