I’ve been using the same type of eye shadow for ten years - Hard Candy Eye Shadow Quartet. I know most people are always trying out the newest makeup and testing everything that comes out, but once I found this eye shadow, I was hooked! I think I own about 8 different quartets, and they last forever (although I should throw them away every year for health reasons. oops). Oh no, I don’t have the eye shadow quartet (frigid) in the picture - you know I’ll be getting it soon! When they first came out, they were the most pigmented eye shadows I could find, so just one or two swipes was all I needed to get really good coverage.

I know tons of people love MAC, but I’ve never had good luck with their eye shadows, except for Swish, which is a pearly pink color. Otherwise, I haven’t found they go on very well, and I am super lazy and like to apply eye shadow with my fingers. I feel like a traitor, but recently I had been searching for some new eye shadows because I wanted smaller ones that had two colors in them. I picked up Too Faced - Totally Toasted, and like it, but feel guilty when I use it. I know I must be crazy! And nowadays tons of eye shadows are highly-pigmented, like Hard Candy, but I want to remain faithful to my favorite brand! And Hard Candy seems to be waning in popularity, since they no longer sell the brand at Ulta, and the display at Sephora is now half its original size:( So I want to give Hard Candy all the support I can! Oooh this Eye Candy Eye Palette looks fabulous!
