Hi! I just wanted to say that I love your website. I have been reading your website for a couple years now and its really informative. I am also obsessed with sunblock and have a really hard time finding one that doesnt break me out..I have oily/acne/sensitive skin. I’m currently using Clinique face cream and so far so good, but I really want to try a gel kind because of my oily skin. Thanks again for a great website it inspired me to start my own. :)

I’ve used Anthelios SPF 15 and Anthelios SPF 40. the 40 definitely has a whitish cast and has clogged up my pores quite a bit – I’ve never broken out this much in my life, even when I was a teenager! But, it’s the only sunscreen that doesn’t irritate my very sensitive face either. I’m thinking of trying one of their different formulations now, as I like the sunscreen but want higher than SPF 15 and no breakouts!

My skin is oily. I have not tried yet Anthelios sunscreens. But i hope if i will try it, then i get a good result.

HI,
I bought this sunscreen yesterday. wellll,,,,,,,,,,,,,, guess what today 07 July – second day for new sunscreen.. give me little spot here and there looks white like acne. What is that? My face oily and very sensitive.
I got home at 6pm today and washed everything. I put AOX serum La roche posay and its help..,,,the redness gone.

I heard good things about this brand but I usually avoid their sunscreens because I have a problem with the ingredients you mentioned. Alcohol Denat is very drying and something I wouldn’t wanna put on my skin and Isopropyl Palmitate always makes me break out really badly. And I usually don’t break out easily.. :(

I know Anthelios is a popular sunscreen with people that are really into sunscreens, but I haven’t tried it yet – but I want to. It’s too bad the ones they sell in the US aren’t the same as the ones from France.
