It's a green clay, also has sulfur & spearmint. I like to use it almost every day, just using a REALLY thin layer & taking it off after 10-15 minutes, when I start to see spots of absorbed oil. Sometimes I'll cheat & use the cold button on the hair dryer to speed things up. About once a week I'll mix in an opened charcoal capsule & leave it on longer. It's cheap & lasts a long time-I've had the current jar about 6 months & still have a third of it left. I get it at Sally's, but WalMart & other stores have it too.
