Are parabens bad for you? I was thinking of purchasing Neutrogena Hand cream but i found it has parabens..

I have tried this product and it is wonderful. What I have been using lately is “Vaseline Deep Moisture CREAMY Formula”. It goes for about $3.99 a tube and I have found it to be non-comedogenic. When I feel dry, it works great for parched feet and I have put it all over my face at night when I need a break from my Renova. It has become my favorite intense cream for really dry skin. It is so mild I have also used it post-chemical peel and it soothes my skin without any reactions.

I’m always looking for a good hand cream…my hands drink it up! I recently found the new Nivea one, which is good, but I’m definitely going to try the Neutrogena cream now, after reading your post.

YES this stuff works!!! We used to wash our hands so much while working in lab, but one tiny drop of Neutrogena would keep my hands soft. I got everybody else in my lab to use it, hehe.

I work in a busy kitchen enviroment where I am constantly washing my hands. I used to use the Neutrogena original formula, but it was too heavy and I had a hard time putting gloves on afterward. Have you tried the newer formula? It absorbs faster and is just as moisturizing as the original.

I love your blog, great topics and very in depth reviews. Now about Neutrogena, I am in love with their lotions. I have severely dry skin due to the desert climate of Arizona and this stuff rocks.

I’ve used this but it’s too thick for me during the day, though it’s great at night. Thicker lotions tend to sit on top of my skin for a long time without soaking in, but I’m glad it worked well for you!

Way back in the day the 1970’s when nursing in london this was a staple in sisters ( head nurse ) office for all her nursing staff to help themselves to. Since then I haven’t been without. This product is the best out on the market for dry skin not only for hands but also on legs and as you mentioned under eye as well.
