I use L'oreal's eye makeup remover and really like it. It gets rid of everything without a lot of tugging or pulling.

My favorite eye makeup remover is my facial cleanser which is Purity Made Simple by Philosophy. I used to use Maybelline Oil Free eye makeup remover or the Garnier cloths but I prefer Purity. It does a great job plus I cleanse my entire face all in one shot. I don't see the point in having more products than I need. I'm all about simplicity without compromising effectiveness.

I swear by plain old sweet almond oil. It removes the most stubborn waterproof mascara and eye makeup without a bit of scrubbing or pressure on your eyelids. It conditions my lashes too. I have dry skin so it doesnt clog my pores. I've been tempted a few times to try whats out there on the market but why bother when sweet almond oil does all that I need it to do?? :-)

This might sound a bit crazy. My mom used to put brandy on her thinning eye brows. She said it helped them grow back. We're asian so we like to use all kinds of weird remedies. Her eyebrows did started growing back though. She looks fine now.

I use baby shampoo to remove any remaining traces of eye makeup after I wash my face with Neutrogena foaming cleanser with makeup remover. I used to have problems with my eyelids getting abnormally puffy at random and it never happens now that I use the baby shampoo. Plus, its cheap!

Cathy,
I have the same problem with thinning eyebrows - http://www.savvyskin.com/skimpy-thinning-eyebrows . If it's the outer third of your eyebrows that have gone missing, it could be a hypothyroid issue. Otherwise I still cannot figure out what happened to my eyebrows, but they basically stopped growing back a year ago.

Stacy,
I used Take the day away, and the other one. One was great. The other totally messed up my eyes, and it was horrible. I totally can't remember which was which, though:(

I was thinking about picking up an eye make up remover earlier today as I have had a bit of a mishap with water proof mascara and have managed to lose a lot of my eyelashes lately. My hair is ok, the loss seems under control, but have also noticed thinning eyebrows which is not related to the eyelash thing.... so anyway, I'm pretty sure it's because I wore waterproof mascara for the last couple of months and removed it every day with a wash cloth. I'm a pro about my skin so this is kind of disconcerting. I used to use the Rimmel remover stuff a couple of years ago and stopped buying it for some reason. Now I'm using Ponds make up cloths, something I've never been in to, and feel the extra bottle of remover would be unnecessary. But the Ponds may have broken me out which is quite sad, I have not broken out much in years. Or it could be the bismuth oxychloride in the new cheap L'oreal Bare Minerals I just started wearing. My feeling is, it's always something. But not to worry, my lashes will grow back.
