I’ve been told I have combo skin. My T-Zone gets really shiny and halfway through the day, my make-up looks like it’s sat on top of my face (as opposed to being blended in). I’m always looking for the ‘1′ product that will work miracles without drying my skin out, has anyone tried Korres or Aesop products? can you let me know what you thought

I also want to try out the Shiseido Cream, but I cannot find the ingredients list anywhere.. Are you sure that this product does not contain any parabens, zinc, talc, aluminium and bismuth too? I’ve been using Bare Minerals too and since I got aware of the shockingly harmful stuff that’s inside I’ve gotten very aware of my products. I also use the Shiseido Sun Protection Stick Foundation – SPF 30 – Very Water Resistant for ages now and was wondering if that is save to use too. Do you happen to know by any change?

I too love Moisture on Line by Clinique. I’ve used it for years and in the past couple of years everytime I go to buy it the sales person tells me that they are going to discontinue it. I pray that they do not! It is the best moisturizer I have ever tried and it doesn’t irritate my skin like all the others. I had eczema when I was younger and most creams burn my skin but the Moisture on Line has actually helped my skin heal. I love it.

I’m sorry, there are so many typos in my last e-mail. It was very late in Japan (we are 14 hours ahead of USA). I ordered the Philosophy Exfoliating wash (mini peel), it says to use it once a day. I am 29 years old and I have a few old acne scars on my cheeks that I am trying to get rid of. SO, I have ordered this and MD Forte Skin Rejunivating lotion I. However, I am still on the quest of finding a good facewash as you can only use the Exfoliating wash once a day. My question is that is ‘Purity’ suitable for combination skin in humid weather? it doesn’t say anywhere and this product has many mixed reviews. Some say to only use on dry skin. I don’t want to spend a fortune and the price for this product is really good and I don’t have to use a toner and I love that idea. Also, do you know of a good moisturizer for combo skin that is light and has SPF for skin my age…. slowly creeping into the 30’s!

Hi, I live in a himd place (Okinawa, Japan) and I have combination skin that tend to break out sometimes… more so in the hot and humid weather if I don’t look after it. I have to wear a light moisturizer. I keep hearing about cleasing with oil is better for the skin and since you mentined you use Purity, I want to know if this is suitable for skin that gets oil in this humid weather. I cannot find a website that advises about cleansing oil and humidity, if this would be a potential ground ground for acne to bread! I have used Decleor cleaning gel (oil based for combo skin) before and that just blocked my pores, the toner was too drying surprisingly. I have high hopes to try oil again. I believe it is the combination of oils in the cleanser that determines whether it would suit my skin or not, so I want to give it a shot. PLease help!

The two Clinique products I use that do not have pore-clogging ingredients are Moisture On-line and Dramatically Different Lotion. They are just moisturizers, though, and not for acne. can you please let me know anything you may know about clinique products. i just bought clinique acne solutions and loked u the ingredients and alot of them were the same as the ones the cause breakouts. i have oily skin and started breaking out due to PX prescriptive products from macys.so they recommended clinique but cause of the ingredients im afraid to try it, not to mention it was very pricey.what do you recommend should i try phlosophy products? or give clinique a try at this point i dont know!! my face looks very bad and its beenlike this for 2 weeks ever since px.pls help! any advice

I looked up Splash mineral powder, but couldn’t find its ingredients anywhere. Usually mineral makeup doesn’t contain pore-clogging ingredients, so it’s generally good for acne-prone skin. Some people have reactions to Bismuth Oxychloride, which is in a lot of mineral makeups, but if you are having good luck with the Splash, I would continue to use it.

I have not tried Estee Lauder Idealist, and couldn’t find its ingredients either. It seems to get good reviews, and most people seem to like it. If you haven’t bought it yet, when you go to the store, you can looks at its box and look at the ingredients before you buy it. Or you could always buy it and compare it to my “cosmetic acne” list, and return it if it doesn’t work (assuming they let you do returns).

Dear Jeni, generally speaking, what is your opinion on Estee Lauder Idealist? I’m looking for product that can minimize pores without clogging it or causing acne, i cannot search for its ingredients neither at makeupalley or estee web. Do you know its ingredients, are they pore clogging and can cause acne? And Jeni, dont forget to comment also on Splash Mineral Powder and my comment number 14, thx :)
