Revitabrow totally works,
Use it for 3 months you will see darker thicker dramatic brows,
After 6 months it transformed my brows!
I recommend not grooming them at all till you get them grown back, then a gorgeous reshaping, very gratifying worth the money.
Only downside is they do get pretty dark, but fuller, longer as well. It did fill in my sparse areas but it took a year.

Hi Jeni,

Wow, how weird that you can't seem to fix your low ferritin! I have heard some good things about the liquid iron supplements. I hope your new regimen works for you.

As an aside, I have been using RapidLash on my eyelashes for about 4 months now, and the results are equal (at least on me) to Latisse, though it took longer to see results. Have not tried it on brows, though.

Hi Lisa,
I'm glad you fixed your hair loss/thinning eyebrows! I have low iron also (it's also at the very lowest end of the normal range), and have been taking iron supplements for years. My iron/ferritin levels never seemed to get higher, but I switched to a different type of iron several months ago so hopefully that will work better. I think I have an absorption problem, and have been taking lysine and vitamin c with the iron. Recently I've looked into other reasons for poor absorption and I came up with low stomach acid as a possible problem, so that's the latest thing I'm testing.

Hi Jeni,

I love your blog! I used to suffer with thinning hair/lashes/brows as well, and do you know what the culprit was? Iron deficiency! I was never diagnosed with low hemoglobin, because I fell into the lowest end of the "normal" range. However, after surgery, I was advised to take an iron supplement to rebuild after some excessive blood loss. At this point I had resigned myself to thinning hair.

About 6 months later I had thick hair! Not only that, I had thick eyelashes and normal brows. I just couldn't believe it. I later discovered that iron deficiency is one of the leading causes of thinning hair in young women.

So anyway... my two cents!

I have thick eyebrows, but as I get older I do notice thinning. I will keep this product in mind for myself and others.

Saw Palmetto is in some other eyebrow enhancing serums that I've seen (I forget which ones). That is strange that saw palmetto is said to grow new hairs, but then the Revitabrow has a disclaimer that it doesn't grow new hairs. I guess they have to say that for legal reasons. I haven't tried any brow serums yet cause I am skeptical but I am curious if any of them work.

My eyebrows have thinned out too and have some missing areas so I would also assume a product like this would be for growing in missing spots, if that's even possible.
