I just made some simple business cards so now I just need to start handing them out to people I meet. I’m so bad at networking! Since I live in Las Vegas, I plan on going to Blog World Expo November 8-9. Yikes, it’s $75! Is anyone else going? The other conference I like is the Internation Esthetics, Comsetics & Spa Conference. That’s not happening til June, though, in Las Vegas. But they also do a show in Orlando and New York.

One Man’s Goal
Even though I blog about skin care, I love reading blogs about blogging, so that I can keep up to date on all the latest happenings in the world of blogging, so that my site stays current. One site I really like is One Man’s Goal. It’s run by Bryan Clark, who has a goal of making a living from blogging within 365 days. He’s off to a fabulous start so far! Even though our blogs are in totally different niches, I feel “connected” to him since we both started our blogs in the same week! And we both have the desire to be full time entrepreneurs and work for ourselves.

I noticed one of the recent posts on One Man’s Goal says to advertise your site offline, and to get business cards. Well there you go! Another recent post of his talks about 10 Traits Of Successful Bloggers. Oops, Networking is #2. I need to work on that big time! One Man’s Goal also features articles about where to find WordPress (that’s the software I use to run the site) themes, and plugins, and that’s where I learned about some of the different features I’ve installed here on my blog.
